You both mount back up and head on down the trail. After a couple of minutes in the Ravine you can see where their ambush site was. The man above would have had a clear shot at you both since the area provided no cover. The men behind could have closed the exit with some great cover. Trees were laid down to block the exit out. The trees are not that difficult to move now, but would have been impossible under fire from above.

The next day y'all descend out of the mountains and enter the plains. It takes another day to finally reach Idaho Falls. You both find a place to rest, and celebrate knowing the next day you'll both be in Fort Hall, Idaho.

August 8, 1880.
After a quick breakfast you both hit the road. There's plenty of traffic on the road with people heading both north and south. It's about 3pm when you ride into the city of Fort Hall. It's quite a change from what you've seen for a while now. Not that Fort Hall is a huge city by any means, but having a train station gives it access to a lot of conveniences that more isolated cities can't enjoy.
